Privacy Policy

PostureLab AI (“the app”) is developed by ZeroSix Studio (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does with your information. Short version: your photos and your measurements stay on your iPhone, and we cannot see them.

What stays on your device

Everything the app creates about you is stored locally on your iPhone, in the app’s own sandboxed storage:

  • the front and side photos you take for a scan;
  • the angles measured from them — forward-head, shoulder tilt, pelvic tilt — and your posture score;
  • exercise sessions and monitor sessions, including their durations and alert counts;
  • your settings: reminder schedule, sensitivity, threshold angle, daily goal, theme.

We have no access to any of it. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server of ours for this data to go to. If your iPhone is included in an iCloud or local backup, the app’s data is part of that backup, held in your own Apple account under Apple’s terms.

What leaves your device

Your photos and measurements never do. The scan is analysed entirely on the iPhone using Apple’s on-device Vision framework; no image is uploaded, and the app has no image upload capability at all.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCatto validate receipts and keep track of whether a subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID generated on your device and your purchase status — not your name, e-mail or payment details, which Apple never shares with us. RevenueCat’s policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.

Analytics

The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDK, and no crash-reporting service. What we see is the aggregated, anonymised information Apple provides to every developer in App Store Connect — downloads, sessions, crash counts — which you can turn off in iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Permissions

  • Camera— to take the two scan photos. Optional: you can pick existing photos instead. Photos are analysed on the device and stay there.
  • Photo library— only if you choose an existing photo for a scan. The app reads the images you select and nothing else.
  • Motion & Fitness— to read head pitch from the motion sensors in AirPods (3rd generation, Pro or Max) for the all-day posture coach. The readings are used live to detect slouching and are not sent anywhere.
  • Notifications— for desk-break reminders and slouch alerts. Optional.

Every one of these can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings; the rest of the app keeps working.

Accounts

The app does not require an account and does not offer one. Your subscription is tied to your Apple Account, which is how it restores on a new device without any login of ours.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete all my datapermanently removes every scan, photo, measurement and session from the device. Deleting the app removes the same data. Because none of it ever reached us, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. A subscription is separate — cancel it in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Your rights

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA apply, they give you rights of access, correction, deletion and portability over personal data a company holds about you. We hold none: the app stores its data on your device, which you already control in full. If you believe we hold something about you, write to us and we will answer.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the current version is always the one published here.
